The office building I29 completes

the ensemble Invalidenstraße 28 to 33.

Together with the new hotel I31, it flanks the old Post-building  I30 from the 1930’s. 

Several different office units and a doctor’s office were created on eight upper floors. 

 On the ground floor beneath the new arcades of Invalidenstraße, the architect Dan Ly created a spacious

restaurant with a generous central open kitchen island in the smallest of spaces.

The combination of the exterior seating areas on the streetside of Hotel I31 and the bar ,”The Pier”, makes

the arcades become a lively walkway in the northern center of Berlin.
